What we collect

When you use the enquiry or photo identification forms: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, the pest and property type you choose, your message and any photos you attach. We also store a one-way hashed version of your IP address and your browser's user-agent to stop spam and abuse.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, identify pests from photos and arrange inspections or treatments (steps you have asked us to take before a contract, and performing that contract).
• To keep records of work carried out, including where landlords, agents or businesses need them (legitimate interests and legal obligations).
• To protect the website from spam (legitimate interests).

We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Our website and database host and our email provider process data on our behalf under contract. We only share details with anyone else when you ask us to (for example your landlord or agent) or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records of treatments are kept for as long as we need them for guarantees, legal and insurance purposes, typically up to six years.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only browser storage used is for staff signing in to the admin area. If that changes, we will update this notice and ask for consent where required.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be transferred. Email info@pestperfection.co.uk. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
