Cookie policy
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technology, such as browser storage, works the same way, and this policy covers both. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) says we must tell you what we use and ask your permission for anything that isn't strictly necessary.
The short version
We don't use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. Browsing the site, reading advice and sending a quote request doesn't put any cookies in your browser, so there's no banner to click through.
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working and don't need your consent.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token (browser storage) | Keeps Pest Perfection staff signed in to the admin area. Not set for visitors. | Until the staff member signs out |
Videos in articles
Some advice articles include YouTube videos. We embed them in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube doesn't set cookies when the page loads. If you press play, YouTube may store data in your browser under Google's privacy policy.
Change your choice
There's nothing to switch on or off: this site only uses the strictly necessary storage listed above.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The ICO explains how at ico.org.uk.
